The story of Victoria Snelgrove is heartbreaking. I don't know if stupid people will ever stop breaking shit and lighting things on fire when their favorite team is doing well. I wish they would. Obviously, the police need to look into their methods and think about "non-lethal" weapons. Here's hoping that the riot cops are all there to protect people first and property second.

Well said! I heard that the cops were experimenting with a new type of "non lethal" pepper bullet. In my mind, any high velocity projectile that's hard and the size of a marble is NOT "non lethal". I don't think those bean-bag shot sacks have ever killed anyone - why weren't they using those I wonder? What makes it even worse is that Victoria was apparently an innocent bystander on the sidewalk.
