Poor, soaked NH

This photo of my grandparent's home was taken this morning. My grandparents are safe and dry but the first floor of their house did not fare so well. Grampy's workshop is downstairs and I was very saddened to hear that the last few antique radios from his once grand collection are now underwater. Sigh. Damn you, nature.

I'm sorry to hear that. We are so fortunate to have suffered only minor poolage in the basement. Our workshop is where the water collected, but we started bailing out (mopping, actually) in plenty of time to keep anything from getting ruined (aside from a few empty cardboard boxes). Our road as well as Beauty Hill Road are partially washed out - but still passable.
