agh - where have I been?

I had a great weekend in Baltimore. I wish that I could rewind and replay Friday and Saturday. Sunday was good too but it was hard to make it through the day with half a brain and a severe lack of sleep. I've got pictures to post and things to say but (once again) it's time for bed... (Note to self - sort out the photos and set up Lightbox or some other suitable display thingy)

Burdick's is about a block away from my office. Waaay to close. I resisted the urge to ask for a shot of espresso in today's hot chocolate - the devil drink is already heavy enough in caffeine and theobromine. I've got to go get my haircut at 8 pm and I don't want to come down so hard that I can't make it out of the house.

It's funny that I should find this now because I was drafting a post about my weird obsessive programming habits. (declarations in the perfect spots, pleasing variable names, whitespace that looks just so...) Oh my god, the stuff at Daily WTF is too painful to look at but too funny to ignore.

Anne Marie posted some cool Halloween pics. Dammit. I'm going to miss Halloween this year because I'm home alone and I have no costume (Not to mention no parties to go to. I guess those would have been for this past weekend anyway, right? aagh. I suck.) I really love Halloween too. Next year I'll have to come up with a wicked cool costume.

bleh. I don't feel so great anyway. I think I'll just sit on my couch and watch a scary movie on TV.

I was born in September and it is my favorite month of the year. The temperature is perfect, the wind picks up, and the light in the early evening is just right.

I'm looking forward to the next 4 weeks.
