Hi, I'm Casey.

I'm a 28 year old guy who lives in Cambridge, MA. I work at a tiny financial company in Harvard Square where I'm a sysadmin/networking guy and Java developer. Mostly. I've been into computers since I was a kid (my first was an Apple Macintosh) and I have fun learning new languages and playing with new software and operating systems. I'm still not sure what I'm going to be when I grow up. Here are pictures of my office at my old job and my new office.

My lovely wife and I live in a small apartment near Harvard Square. I like living in Cambridge. There are lots of cool shops and restaurants around and we can easily hop on the T (the subway) to get across the river and into Boston.

I love music. Mostly punk, turntablism and Tom Waits.

I'm always reading a book. I tend to choose sci-fi, fantasy, and dystopian fiction. Take a look at my current reading list and Amazon wish list if you want.

I'm into comics. I'm been reading some of the Marvel superhero books since I was a kid (Wolverine, X-Men, Spiderman). The quality of the writing and art fluctuates but I'm so into the characters and the history that I'll happily slog through the bad months (or years). My favorite comics are more grown up ones. When I get my stack of new books from Outer Limits I'm always looking forward to something in there by Warren Ellis (also a blogger extraordinaire), Brian Wood, Adrian Tomine, or Jim Mahfood.

I spend too much time playing with my computer.
